Dear Hemet Residents:

We find ourselves at a serious juncture in our community…difficult decisions will have to be made to ensure that Hemet is once again the vibrant, pro-active community it once was.  With questions about our budget and finance management and trust issues regarding how our city managed the departure of our city manager no doubt cause anxiety and nervousness about the direction our community is taking.

With a pressing 5% utilities tax on the horizon, which may be our only option at this time, raises the question of where our multi-million dollar surplus of three years ago went.

As a lifelong Hemet resident, I am concerned about the direction our community is going. As your councilperson, I bring fresh ideas, a new approach, vibrant enthusiasm and energy with a strong and solid business and management background.  It is time for new leadership in Hemet!
